Canary Wharf
Canary Wharf houses eight eateries, most of which are exclusive to this branch, including a salad and juice bar, a steak & oyster bar and a conveyor belt sushi bar, a concession run by Moshi Moshi. There is also a restaurant with a choice of hot food and beverages to take away or eat indoors, a huge open pizza oven and a wine bar where customers can enjoy a glass of fine wine, beer or Champagne and tapas-style snacks.
Waitrose Canary Wharf Branch Manager, Russell Cattel says: "Our range of eateries reflect the unique shopping environment available here at Canary Wharf. They have been very well received by shoppers as they meet demand for quality, quick, convenient food before work or during lunch breaks as well as sit-down meals for a long-lunch, evening meal or relaxation at the weekend."
A product is defined as 'local' if it is made within a 30-mile radius of the
Waitrose branch where it is sold. Local products in Waitrose shops include
sausages, bacon, ice cream, wines and cheese - all made largely from locally
produced ingredients, free from unnecessary additives and are usually delivered
straight to the branch by the supplier. At present more than 1200 local
products from 450 local suppliers are available in nearby branches. Here is
