Making Waitrose & Partners accessible worldwide, Waitrose & Partners Business to Business works closely with supermarkets, food shops, department stores and distributors all over the world

Our international operation is supported by the National Distribution Centre in Milton Keynes where we consolidate and ship our international orders using our International Supply Model (ISM). This covers fresh, ambient and frozen lines as well as Beers, Wines & Spirits. We are now also able to export home and general merchandise. Our dedicated Business to Business department works closely with our clients supporting them on assortment development and business driving initiatives.

Our Business

Waitrose & Partners has over 350 shops in the United Kingdom, which forms the food retail division of Britain’s largest employee owned retailer, the John Lewis Partnership.

Founded in 1904 by Wallace Waite, Arthur Rose and David Taylor, Waitrose & Partners began as a small grocery store in London. Taken over by John Lewis & Partners in 1937, all employees are known as Partners and are co-owners of the business. Currently we have 85,500 Partners across our shops, head offices and distribution networks.

Our products

Fresh, quality food is at the heart of what we do. As partners, we want to know where our food comes from, how it’s been produced and what it contains.

In recognition for the work we do, Waitrose & Partners received a Big Tick Award in the sustainable supply chain category at the Responsible Business Awards 2013.
