Day four

Add two handfuls of blueberries to a bowl of unsweetened muesli and semi-skimmed milk.

Wash and prepare a bunch of radishes, eat with a little butter and salt - as they do in France.

Simmer three heaped tablespoons of fresh peas and mint leaves in stock until tender. Liquidise with half fat crème fraîche for a quick soup.

Drizzle freshly-cooked corn on the cob with olive oil, flavoured with basil, garlic or chilli. Serve with meat or fish.

Cut a mango into two slices and cook in a griddle pan until warm. Serve with ice cream.
