Loose bottomed cake tin

A cake tin with straight sides that has a removable base to ensure the cooked cake can be easily removed from the tin. Loose bottomed cake tins are usually round, but rectangular tins are also available.

Loose bottomed flan tin

A fluted tin that has a removable base so that the baked flan or quiche can be removed easily from the tin, the cooked dish can be left on the base for serving. Loose bottomed flan tins are available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.
