Potato wedge

A chunky piece of potato, usually a piece of a whole large potato that has been halved, quartered and cut into eighths. Potato wedges are often dry-roasted in the oven and served as a healthier alternative to deep fried chips or as a snack or starter with a spicy salsa or creamy cheese dip.
