Barbecue sauce

Barbecue sauce

A savoury sauce made from tomatoes and spices that gives food a distinctive barbecued flavour. It is available in two different varieties:

New York BBQ sauce

A smooth, thick sauce in a squeezy bottle.

Uses:
Serve with burgers, sausages, ribs, steaks or chicken wings.

To store:
Keep in cool dry place for up to 1 year. Once opened store in the fridge and use within 8 weeks.

Smokey barbecue sauce

A runny sauce that is sold in a glass bottle with a hickory smoked flavour.

Uses:
Serve with burgers, sausages, ribs, steaks or chicken wings. It can also be used as a marinade before cooking - simply pour over meat before cooking and then baste with the sauce during cooking.

To store:
Store in a cool dark place for up to 1 year.
