Campari

This popular Italian drink is a bright red spirit flavoured with a combination of bitter herbs and roots including the dried peel of Seville oranges. Although usually referred to simply as Campari its full name is actually Campari bitters.

Uses: Campari is traditionally served with soda water and a twist of lemon peel. It is also an important ingredient in several cocktail recipes including a negroni - mix equal measures of Campari, gin and sweet red vermouth over ice in a glass and top up with soda water.
