Preparing Colcannon

Colcannon

A traditional Irish dish of fresh mashed potato, buttered, lightly seasoned and blended with Savoy cabbage and onion.

Uses: Colcannon is a tasty accompaniment to a variety of meat and vegetarian main courses, including lamb, beef or bean casseroles.

To store: Keep in the fridge and consume by the use by date. To freeze, freeze on the day of purchase and defrost thoroughly in the fridge before use.

To heat: Colcannon can be heated in a conventional oven or a microwave, follow the packet instructions for specific directions.
