Cress

Cress

This small low-growing plant is sold with mustard, as a growing plant, in small trays. Mustard seeds grow quicker than cress so you will only see the cress after a few days. The combined flavours of cress and mustard give a spicy, fresh peppery taste. Available all year.

Uses: Sprinkle over salads, add to sandwich fillings or use as a garnish.

To store: Keep in the fridge for 2-3 days.

To prepare: Use kitchen scissors to cut off what you want from the tray, wash and drain well before using.
