Crispbread

Crispbread

These savoury crackers are available in a wide range of different types. Rye crispbread sold in Waitrose includes: Dark rye crispbread which is made from wholemeal rye and salt, Multi-grain rye crispbread which are topped with a blend of toasted grains, seeds and kernels and Sesame rye crispbread which have a coating of lightly toasted sesame seeds.

A choice of flavoured crispbreads are also available, choose from Italian style rosemary and rock salt crispbread, Organic Emmental cheese and pumpkin seed wholegrain crispbread or Organic roasted onion wholegrain crispbread with sesame seeds, sunflower seeds and linseeds.

Uses: Rye crispbreads are a popular alternative to bread or biscuits for cheese - top with ham, cheese, salad, chicken or any combination of savoury ingredients. Serve flavoured crispbreads topped with a selection of chopped Waitrose antipasti such as Marinated and Grilled Red & Yellow Peppers, Marinated Sun Dried Tomatoes or Marinated & Grilled Aubergines or slices of cured ham or cheese and fresh basil leaves.

To store: Keep in a cool dark place unopened, once opened store in an airtight container and use within 2 weeks.
