Croutons

Croutons

Croutons are cubes or small pieces of bread that are fried or toasted to produce crispy 'bites'. Fresh sea salt and herb croutons are available from Waitrose.

Uses: Croutons are an ideal accompaniment to sprinkle over soups and salads - they add an interesting crunchy texture as well as flavour.

To store: Store unopened croutons in a cool, dry place and eat by the use by date. Once opened store in an airtight container.

Garlic croutons

Mini bread organic garlic croutons are available in Waitrose and will add a continental flavour to a variety of dishes.

Uses: Garlic croutons are an ideal accompaniment to sprinkle over soups and salads or serve them with a selection of Waitrose dips for a tasty starter.
