Hoisin sauce

Hoisin sauce

A thick, dark reddish brown Chinese sauce made from yellow beans, vinegar, sugar and spices, hoisin sauce has a sweet and spicy flavour.

Uses: Hoisin sauce can be used as a dipping sauce - serve with crispy Peking duck, prawn crackers or spring rolls. Or add to stir-fried vegetables, chicken or pork.

To store: Keep unopened hoisin sauce in a cool, dark place for up to 1 year. Once opened store in the fridge and consume by the use by date.
