These are similar to puppodums but they are thicker and crunchier. They are lower in fat because they are grilled rather than fried. Lightly spiced ready-to-cook green chilli and garlic pappads are available in Waitrose.
Uses: Serve pappads as an accompaniment to any curry or as a snack with a selection of chutneys.
To store: Keep in a cool, dry place. Once cooked store in an airtight container and use within 2 days.
To cook: Place the pappads under a very hot grill for a few seconds on each side until they start to bubble and are a light brown colour.
