250g pack Waitrose Chicory, halved
1 Waitrose Fennel Bulb, sliced
200ml vegetable stock
25g pack fresh parsley, chopped
25g essential Waitrose
Farmhouse Mature Cheddar cheese, grated
Chicory and fennel gratin
- Total time: Ready in 20 minutes
1. Preheat the oven to 200ºC, gas mark 6. Place the chicory, fennel and stock in a frying pan and bring to the boil, then cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Transfer to an ovenproof serving dish.
2. Mix together the breadcrumbs, parsley and cheese and sprinkle over the dish. Bake for 10–15 minutes until golden.
