Easy cranberry sauce

250g fresh cranberries
1-2 strips orange zest
75g light brown muscovado sugar


1. Place the cranberries in a small pan with 150ml cold water and gently bring to the boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the berries start to burst.

2. Add the orange zest and sugar and stir. Simmer for 7-10 minutes, or until the sauce is thick. Remove the zest and transfer the sauce to a small bowl. Serve warm or cold.
