Mulled ginger beer

Ingredients

  • 2 slices fresh root ginger
  • 4 star anise
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 orange
  • 1 fresh lemon
  • 2 bottles Fiery Ginger Beer

Method

  1. Place two 2-litre bottles of Waitrose Fiery Ginger Beer in a large pan.
  2. Add a sliced orange and lemon, two cinnamon sticks and four star anise. Bring to a gentle simmer and serve warm with a thin slice of fresh root ginger added to each glass.

Variation

Grown-ups might enjoy a splash of dark rum or brandy in theirs too.
