Paprika Popped Corn

Hailed as the new crisps, popcorn is a tasty, light pre-dinner nibble when prepared to our recipe.


2 tsp vegetable oil
100g Waitrose LOVE Life popcorn maize
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp Chinese five spice
1 tsp mild chilli powder


1. Pour the vegetable oil into a large wide saucepan and place over the heat for 1-2 minutes or until hot. Sprinkle
in the popcorn maize, cover with the lid, turn the heat down low and listen for the sound of the corn popping.

2. Shake the pan frequently and leave on the heat until the popping subsides. Toss the popcorn with the spices and serve straight away.

  • Preparation time: 2 minutes
  • Cooking time: 3 - 5 minutes
  • Total time: 7 minutes

Serves: 6 (as a snack)
