    Seriously Creamy pear and chocolate creme

    a smooth creamy base with a layer of pears topped with dark chocolate sauce

    What makes it the ultimate summer Seriously From Waitrose dessert?

    the creaminess of the base, the fruitiness of the pears and the rich decadence of the chocolate make this a heavenly combination.


    • base: egg, sugar, flour, milk, unsalted butter.
      poached pears
      dark chocolate


    1. mix egg with 5 heaped spoonfuls of sugar and add 5 flat tbsps of flour and half a pint of milk. Add half pint boiling milk then bring to boil stirring. When thickened take off heat and add about 50grms butter. Leave to cool. Add pears and drizzle chocolate sauce on top.
