Inspired by Waitrose's Christmas special 'stem ginger in whisky' this desert is gently stewed rhubarb with finely diced stem ginger balls and some of the whiskyish ginger syrup to replace sugar. Topped with crumble and ground almonds, served with ice-cream. Truly scrumptious.
