Seriously Fruity Plum and Almond Tart

A delcious moist combination of juicy dark halved victoria plums (lay cut side down) sprinkled with brown sugar, cooked in a short pastry case as a base, and topped with an almond flavoured (natural good quality almond essence) sweet light sponge (very thin layer). Also flavoured with cinnamon and generous almond halves. Wonderful served with ice cream/clotted cream/marscapone
