What makes it the ultimate summer Seriously From Waitrose dessert?
Very refreshing and light on a hot summer's day.
pkt Digestive Biscuits (crushed)
4ozs butter (melted)
12ozs can Condensed Milk
½pt double cream
Juice & Rind of 4 Lemons (not too large)
1. Mix crushed biscuits and melted butter together – press into 10” diameter flan dish. Allow to set in fridge.
2.Blend condensed milk and cream together. Beat for approx. 1 minute until thick and creamy.
3.Stir in lemon juice – do not beat. Mixture will thicken.
4.Pour lemon mixture onto biscuit base.
5.Chill overnight in fridge.
