Seriously Zesty Tangy lemon crunch

A light but decidedly zesty lemon cream on a layer of lemon curd on a crisp biscuit base finished with a lacing of dark chocolate.

What makes it the ultimate summer Seriously From Waitrose dessert?

This dessert makes an excellent finale to any meal as it suits most palates and can be enhanced by a serving of summer berries. There is a hint of chocolate for those who can't survive without it!


  • 175 gms crumbled digestive biscuits, 75 gms butter, 150mls whipping cream, 1 small can condensed milk, zest of 2 lemons, 8 tablespoons lemon juice, 100 mls lemon curd and 50gms very dark chocolate.


  1. Mix melted butter with crushed biscuits and line 20cms flan dish with it. Chill for at least 1 hour. Spread base with lemon curd. Whip cream, stir in condensed milk, lemon zest and juice. Add more lemon juice to counteract sweetness if necessary. Spread over lemon curd. Finish with a light tracing of melted chocolate.
