Steak with horseradish cream
4 tbsp soured cream
1 tbsp essential Waitrose Creamed Horseradish Sauce
Juice of ½ lemon
2 salad onions, finely chopped, plus extra slices to garnish
Dash of Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
2 Waitrose Aberdeen Angus Sirloin Steaks
1 tbsp olive oil
- Preheat the grill to high. Mix together the first 5 ingredients and seasoning. Put in a small serving dish, cover and chill.
- Brush both sides of the steaks with the oil and grill (4–6 minutes for rare, 8–10 minutes for medium, 10–12 minutes for well done). Leave to rest for a few minutes until the juices settle.
- Transfer to plates, top with sauce and garnish with reserved salad onion. Serve with chunky chips and a rocket, watercress and spinach salad.
