Fantastic recipe, serve with lots of fresh bread and salad and can serve even more! Great for meat eaters too. I used philadelphia when couldn't get fromage frais-perfect!

Great and easy recipe. Can be made well in advance as stores in freezer. VERY light taste for those wanting to escape rich flavours of christmas pudding and after heavy meal! Original recipe could have more flavour so don't be afraid to add your own!

Absolutely delicious, goes with everything! And so quick and easy to make. I would stress to buy good quality dates though as the cheaper ones don't soften and blend in as much.

I wasn't very excited when I ate this. The texture was very soft and eggy and seemed to be missing a crunch. Maybe needs some pastry or crunchy topping and definitely needs to be very thin.
