Recipes such as white vinegar and water, and lemon juice and olive oil can all deliver shining results around the house when used for cleaning.

Mixing a little white vinegar with water can help windows to sparkle, while a few tablespoons of lemon juice can help get rid of limescale, and a mixture of olive oil and vinegar can help to polish wood.
