How to prepare a pomegranate


1. Using a sharp knife, carefully slice about half an inch from the top of the pomegranate.
2. Gently remove the lid to expose the edible seeds inside.
3. Slice down through each of the white membranes inside the fruit.
4. Pry the sections apart, turn the fruit inside out and pop the seeds out into a bowl.

Tip

Pomegranate juice stains, so it's a good idea to protect clothes and work surfaces.
