Home & Garden offers a wide range of products for your kitchen, home & garden. Home & Garden items can be ordered separately or with your weekly grocery shop. Your order will be delivered free from your local Waitrose (where the service is available). Or you can collect in branch.

Will I find the same range of products as in my branch?
Our online shopping service is designed to meet the expectations of all our customers and we’ve worked hard to recreate the branch experience online. Almost all products sold at your local Waitrose supermarket are available for home shopping, and all offers available in branch are available online. We even flag them up for you so that you won't miss the chance to make a saving.

Is there a minimum order value?
Yes. The minimum order value is £50 per order. This can include items from grocery and/or Home & Garden.

What happens if something I order is unavailable?
We make every effort to ensure all products are in stock. However, if an item you require is not available, you can request a similar substitute product.
If a substitution is made, you will always be charged the lower of the two prices (excluding weighed items), but if it's not what you want you can refuse it.
You can set your substitution preferences globally, that is for all the items in your trolley. Or you can set them for individual items as you shop.

Can I change or cancel an order once I have placed it?
You can change your order up until 11.45am the day before your delivery or collection date. Click on My Account in the top menu, and then on Current Orders to change the order, cancel it, or change the delivery/collection time.
Please note. This does not affect your rights of cancellation under the Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulations.

What if I’m not happy with my Home & Garden items?
We hope you will be pleased with your purchase. Should you wish to return anything from your Home & Garden order, we will be happy to exchange or refund a product provided it is in a fully resaleable condition.
Returns should be made to your nearest Waitrose branch, within a reasonable time (usually 28 days) and in the original undamaged packaging. Please bring your delivery note or confirmation email with you. Directions to our branches can be found here.
If the product is not returned in a fully resaleable condition or the packaging is damaged, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 20% of the original selling price from the refund amount.
For reasons of hygiene, safety and copyright, we cannot refund or exchange the following products unless they are faulty: Mattresses, mattress toppers, duvets, pillows, personal grooming products, cosmetics, pierced jewellery, children’s car seats, CD, DVD, tapes or other recording media, software or videos, some swimwear and underwear and earplugs.
None of the above conditions affect your statutory rights when goods are faulty, or not as described.
