Alastair Cook finds out how workers in farming communities in South Africa are deciding how best to invest in their future under the Waitrose Foundation

Cook, England’s all-time leading run scorer, took some time out of the current Test series to visit three grape farms in the Hex River Valley. Together with his wife Alice and one-year-old daughter Elsie, he saw how the Waitrose Foundation helps to support local farmers on a trip organised by the retailer, which sponsors England Cricket.
