Waitrose has been rated best supermarket by customers in the 2015 Which? Favourite
The survey of more than 7,000 shoppers reveals the best supermarkets of 2015, with Waitrose receiving top marks in a number of categories including customer service. Waitrose was also the only supermarket to get five stars for its delivery service. The survey, published in the latest edition of Which? Magazine, noted that:"Waitrose shoppers love almost everything about it - it gets top marks for customer service, store environment and its own label and fresh products."
Launched in 2007, the Which? Favourite Supermarket Survey asks members of the public how satisfied they are as customers and whether they would recommend a supermarket to a friend. The shoppers are then asked to score supermarkets on pricing, customer service, the quality of fresh produce, the store-environment, how well-stocked they were and how easy it was to find items.
The win for Waitrose follows another recent Which? accolade - Waitrose was named Best Supermarket of the Year in the 2014 Which? Awards. Waitrose was also crowned Best Food and Grocery Retailer in the Verdict Retail Customer Satisfaction Awards in April and won Favourite Supermarket in the Good Housekeeping Food Awards in June.
Waitrose Managing Director, Mark Price, said of the win: "We're grateful to all the customers who voted for us, it's a great accolade and fantastic recognition for the energy and hard work our 61,000 Partners put into creating the best possible experience for shoppers both in our shops and online.”
