This luscious smoothie, served at Taman Gang restaurant on London's Park Lane, offers a great energy boost. To make it at home, whiz 1 peeled banana, 2 stoned dates, 50ml milk, 50ml probiotic yogurt, 1 tsp honey and a handful of crushed ice in a blender until smooth.

Pour into a tall glass and drink straight away.
