August is the prime time for barbecue cooking – whether it’s over charcoal for that deliciously smoky flavour, gas for speed, or even, when weather dictates, in an oven.
The flatbread base can of course be fashioned from lovingly made pizza dough and garlic butter. However, if time is short, using a bought garlic flatbread will get supper on the table in 20 minutes or so.
