    Basil and Goat's Cheese Rolls

    Ingredients

    • 500ml warm water
    • 750g Waitrose Very Strong Canadian Bread Flour
    • 150g Chavroux Soft Goat's Cheese
    • 1 packet freshly chopped basil
    • Yeast
    • Olive oil
    • Salt
    • Black pepper

    Method

    1. Use 500ml warm water and about 750g Waitrose Very Strong Canadian Bread Flour and make the dough, using half quantities of yeast, salt and olive oil. Divide into 12 and shape into flat round discs. Crumble 150g Chavroux Soft Goat's Cheese and mix with 1 packet chopped basil and black pepper. Divide between the discs, then pull the dough up over the filling and shape into rolls. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with crushed Maldon Salt. Cook from cold for about 25 minutes.
    2. Set the oven to 220°C, gas mark 7.
