Best Chilli

Just for a change I thought I would try making chilli a bit different. This turned out to be very easy to make and delicious.

  • Total time: 40mins

Serves: 4

  • 500 grms good quality minced beef

Big bunch of fresh corriander (I get mine from the Indian supermarket)

    1 onion

1 cm of fresh ginger, chopped

    3 cloves of garlic

    3 green chillis

    tin good quality chopped tomatoes

tin of barlotti beans (or use dried & soak overnight)

    tsp tomatoe puree

    olive oil

    salt & pepper

  1. Gently fry onion in olive oil add chopped garlic, chillis ginger and pleanty chopped corriander. Add mince and brown, then add tomatoe puree, tin tomatoes, salt & pepper. Simmer with lid for approx 40 mins adding water if too dry. Add beans, stir then more chopped corriander to serve. ENJOY
