A quick version of baked apples that's a great way of adding to your five-a-day tally of fresh fruit and vegetables. Vary the dried fruit and nuts according to taste.
Vary the dried fruit as you wish. Some good combinations are dried cranberries with almonds, prunes with pecan nuts, or dates and hazelnuts.
