    Bratwurst with Puy Lentils

    Germany is famous for its spicy sausages, pâtés, hams and salamis. We bring you a selection of traditional favourites for you to enjoy.

    Serves: 2


    • 1 small onion
    • 1 garlic clove
    • 1 tbsp olive oil
    • 115g Puy lentils
    • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
    • 2 tomatoes
    • Salt
    • Freshly ground black pepper
    • 180g pack of Kupfer Bratwürst Rings


    1. Soften 1 small chopped onion and 1 crushed garlic clove in 1tbsp olive oil.
    2. Add 115g Puy lentils, cooked as directed on the packet, 1tbsp balsamic vinegar, 2 tomatoes, peeled and diced, salt and freshly ground black pepper. Heat through.
    3. Meanwhile, grill the sausages from 1 x 180g pack Kupfer Bratwürst Ring. Divide the lentils between two warmed plates and place the Bratwurst rings on top.
