Since these are for children, they are a little less rich than the authentic Belgian variety. The high-quality chocolate used still gives a full flavour, though, and the cream is replaced with chocolate sponge cake crumbs and ground almonds. Making the truffle balls and rolling them in cocoa powder is exactly the kind of 'cooking' that children enjoy most.
