    Chocolate and Banana Roll Ups

    You can vary the ingredients by substituting the chocolate spread with jam and the bananas with other soft fruits of your choice, such as sliced strawberries or peaches.

    Serves: 4


    • 1 x 250g pack Les Gourmandines French Pancakes
    • Cadbury's Chocolate Spread or Nutella
    • 4 bananas
    • Icing sugar, to dredge


    1. Lay a sweet pancake flat on the work surface and, using a blunt knife or spatula, spread with 2tbsp chocolate spread. Peel a banana and place on the edge of the pancake. Carefully roll up, pressing the pancake edges down gently. Repeat the process to give four roll-ups.
    2. Wrap in clingfilm and chill in the fridge for two hours.
    3. Remove the clingfilm and place on a chopping board. Cut into 5cm slices and arrange on a colourful serving plate. Pour a little icing sugar into a sieve held over the roll-ups, and knock gently to cover in a fine dusting of sugar. Eat immediately.
