    Chocolate Truffles

The chocolate truffles are so simple to produce that even children could make them. All you need is a piping bag, some patience and newspaper to cover the floor!

    • Vegetarian

    Makes: 20

    Ingredients

    • 1 x 100g bar Waitrose Continental Plain Chocolate
    • 1 x 100g bar Plain Chocolate with Ginger, Coffee or Orange
    • 50ml whipping cream
    • Chocolate-covered coffee beans, almonds, hazelnuts or a sprinkling of coco

    Method

    1. Grate or chop 1 x 100g bar Waitrose Continental Plain Chocolate and 1 x 100g bar Plain Chocolate with Ginger, Coffee or Orange into a bowl. Add 50ml whipping cream and melt over a bain-marie or in a microwave.
    2. Stir well, then chill slightly so that the mixture is thickened but not set. Place greaseproof paper on a tray and, using a piping bag with a small nozzle, pipe 20 or so balls onto the tray.
    3. Decorate with chocolate-covered coffee beans, almonds, hazelnuts or a sprinkling of cocoa. Put in the fridge to chill.
