    Citrus Carrots

    These carrots enhance the chicken and the mash dish with a zesty fragrance.

    • Total time: 20 minutes 20 minutes

    Serves: 6


    • 600g carrots, peeled and sliced into batons
    • 125ml orange juice
    • 1 lemon juice
    • 1 lime zest
    • 10g butter


    1. Put the carrots in a pan over a medium heat with the orange and lemon juice. Cook for 8–10 minutes, or until the carrots are cooked but still firm. Drain them, scatter the lime zest over and season generously; stir in the butter.
