    Cranberry Sauce 2

    You can prepare this in advance and store, covered, in the fridge for up to a week, or in the freezer for up to 3 months.

    • Cooking time: 15 minutes to 20 minutes
    • Total time: 20 minutes to 25 minutes 25 minutes

    Serves: 6

    Ingredients

    • 250g pack Waitrose Fresh Cranberries
    • 1-2 strips orange zest
    • 75g light brown muscovado sugar

    Method

    1. Place the cranberries in a small pan with 150ml cold water and gently bring to the boil. Reduce the heat, then simmer for 5 minutes, or until the berries start to burst.
    2. Add the orange zest and sugar and stir. Simmer for 7-10 minutes, or until the sauce is thick. Remove the zest and transfer sauce to a small bowl. Serve warm or cold.
