    Creamed Leeks

    Serves: 4

    Ingredients

    • 2 large leeks
    • 2 tbsp olive oil
    • A tub of Waitrose Parmesan Stir-in Sauce
    • 1 tsp chopped oregano

    Method

    1. Trim 2 large leeks and slice diagonally into 5cm-thick rounds. Wash thoroughly. Set aside to dry. Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in large frying pan. Fry the leeks over a medium heat for about 5 minutes or until they start to brown. Lower the temperature and pour in a tub of Waitrose Parmesan Stir-in Sauce. Cook until hot. Sprinkle over 1 tsp chopped oregano. Remove from the heat. Serve with sausages or roasted game or on seared steak.
