Warm everyone up on Bonfire Night with succulent sausages in baguettes, garnished with sweet and spicy home-made chilli relish.Makes 8 hot dogs
Make the relish a few days in advance, cover and store in the fridge until required.This recipe will make 300ml relish; any remaining can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Use this relish as a glaze for chicken or pork, or serve with cheese or ham in a sandwich.
Make the relish more fiery by adding 3-4 red chillies or, for a milder flavour, omit the chillies completely.
Samuel Adams Boston Lager (355ml) is a dark, robust beer, despite its name, and a refreshing match for the spicy sausages.
