Double Choc Fudge

This double chocolate fudge goes well with coffee and liquers after any meal and will be met with many positive comments!

  • Total time: 2hrs 30mins

Serves: 6


  • 100g good quality dark chocolate
    100g good quality white chocolate
    100g butter
    8tbsp single cream
    2tbsp vanilla essense
    900g icing sugar, sifted


  1. Break dark chocolate into small pieces and melt with 50g butter in microwave or over pan of boiling water
  2. when ingredients are melted, stir in 4tbsp of single cream, 1tbsp of vanilla essense and 450g of icing sugar
  3. put into a loose bottom baking tin roughly 30cm square and put in fridge to cool for an hour
  4. repeat steps 1,2 with the rest of the ingredients and the white chocolate and then pour onto the dark chocolate mixture then put it all back in the fridge to cool for another hour
  5. cut up in to squares and serve after dinner or any time for a chocolate treat! This will keep up to a month in a sealed container in the fridge
