    Dry martini

Citrus-led gins are great in a martini because you can really appreciate their flavour. Fresh lemon will enhance the invigorating tangy taste of juniper and spice, delivering the ultimate refreshment.

1 measure Martini Extra Dry vermouth

2½ measures No.3 London Dry Gin

    Lemon for garnish

Chill a martini glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes before serving. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, add the vermouth and stir well to coat the ice. Strain away the excess vermouth. Add the gin to the vermouth-coated ice and stir well to chill. Strain into the frozen martini glass. Pare the rind of a lemon and twist to extract the oils into the glass then run it around the rim before using to garnish.
