    Easy winter fruit crumble

    • Preparation time: 15 minutes
    • Cooking time: 20-25 minutes
    • Total time: 35-40 minutes

    Serves: 4-6


    2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and cut into 8
    2 ripe Conference pears, peeled, cored and cut into 8
    100g soft prunes, halved
    8 tbsp orange juice
    50g butter, diced
    65g plain wholemeal flour
    25g demerara sugar
    75g Quaker Wholegrain Rolled Oats
    1 tsp ground cinnamon 


    1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC, gas mark 4. Cook the fruit and prunes in a frying pan with the orange juice for 3–4 minutes, covered, then transfer to 4–6 individual ovenproof dishes.

    2. Meanwhile, rub the butter into the flour and sugar until it makes a coarse crumb-like texture, then stir in the oats and cinnamon. Sprinkle over the fruit and bake the individual crumbles for 20–25 minutes until golden.
