I can't claim this as my own as I picked it up from somewhere in the past but can't actually remember where (maybe Delia Smith?) The love it or hate it sprout ( I hated sprouts before I tried this) is transformed when cooked this way though and avoids that over boiled thing as you can over cook this without too much damage to the finished article! TIP: if you make too much then add it to a bubble and squeak- works very well with fried or poached eggs
