    Ham Triple Decker

After a Boxing Day walk or a game of football, a triple decker sandwich made with freshly cut slices from your Christmas ham or Waitrose Oven-Baked Organic Ham, is the perfect relief from the richness of the traditional roast. Serve with pickles for extra tang, either sliced in the sandwich or on the side

    • Preparation time: 15 minutes
    • Total time: 15 minutes 15 minutes

    Serves: 2

    • Waitrose Ciabatta Loaf
    • Butter
    • 4tbsp Waitrose Fresh Mayonnaise
    • 100g bag Waitrose Watercress Salad
    • Salt
    • Freshly ground black pepper
    • 200g Waitrose Oven-Baked Organic Ham, carved as thinly as possible
    • 100g Keen's Unpasteurised Cheddar Cheese, or any mature Cheddar, grated
    • 2tbsp Waitrose Shrewsbury Sauce

    1. Warm the ciabatta as directed on the packet, then slice it through horizontally into three. Butter each slice and spread with a generous quantity of mayonnaise.
    2. Lay the salad on the bottom and middle slices, then season with salt and plenty of black pepper. Top with the ham and grated cheese, then drizzle on the Shrewsbury Sauce. Stack the slices, press down gently and cut in half. Serve while the bread is still warm.
