    Ice Cream

    Enjoy our ice creams and sorbets neat, or try these simple serving suggestions.

    Ingredients

    • For Amaretto Sorbet Sundae:
    • Lemon balm leaves
    • Toasted almond flakes
    • Peach, apricot and amaretto sorbet
    • 1 Raspberry Coulis
    • 1 fresh nectarines
    • 1 fresh mango
    • 1 fresh peach, diced
    • Sapori Amaretti Morbidi Biscuits
    • For Baileys Mocha Sauce:
    • Chocolate covered coffee beans
    • Organic chocolate and vanilla ice cream
    • 4tbsp Bailey Cream liqueur
    • 1tsp coffee granules
    • 1tbsp soft brown sugar
    • 125ml single cream
    • 100g Waitrose Continental Plain Chocolate
    • For Melted Chocolate Sauce:
    • Chopped nuts or chocolate pieces
    • Organic vanilla or chocolate ice cream
    • A little single cream
    • 1 small Toblerone
    • 1 small mars bar
    • For Passion Sundae:
    • Clotted Cream Orange Blossom Honey Ice Cream
    • 4 bananas
    • 1tbsp lemon juice
    • 6tbsp Waitrose Luxury Lemon Curd
    • 2 passion fruits
    • For Pink Refresher:
    • A few sprigs of fresh mint
    • 1 pink gin sorbet
    • 1 pink grapefruit
    • For Summer Fruit Sundae:
    • A little crème de cassis
    • Clotted Cream Timperley Rhubarb Ice Cream
    • Broken meringues
    • 500g mixed summer fruits
    • 2tbsp icing sugar
    • A small punnet of strawberries

    Method

    1. Passion Sundae
    2. 4 servings
    3. Mix the pulp of 2 passion fruit with 6tbsp Waitrose Luxury Lemon Curd and 1tbsp lemon juice. Arrange 4 bananas, diagonally sliced, on serving plates. Place scoops of Clotted Cream Orange Blossom Honey Ice Cream in the centre and drizzle the sauce over the top.
    4. Summer Fruit Sundae
    5. 6 servings
    6. Purée a small punnet of strawberries with 2tbsp icing sugar. Add 500g mixed summer fruits. Sweeten to taste. To assemble, place pieces of broken meringue in tall glasses then top with the fruit mixture. Add scoops of Clotted Cream Timperley Rhubarb Ice Cream and drizzle with a little crème de cassis.
    7. Amaretto Sorbet Sundae
    8. Place a few crumbled Sapori Amaretti Morbidi Biscuits in tall glasses. Add a mixture of diced fresh mango, peaches and nectarines. Pour some Senoble Apricot or Raspberry Coulis on top. Finish with scoops of Peach, Apricot and Amaretto Sorbet and sprinkle with toasted almond flakes. Decorate with lemon balm leaves or a stem of redcurrants.
    9. Baileys Mocha Sauce
    10. 6 servings
    11. Gently melt a 100g bar Waitrose Continental Plain Chocolate with 125ml pouring single cream, 1tbsp soft brown sugar and 1tsp coffee granules. Off the heat, add 4tbsp Baileys Cream liqueur. Serve the warm sauce with scoops of Organic Chocolate and Vanilla Ice Cream. Top with roughly chopped chocolate covered coffee beans.
    12. Pink Refresher
    13. For a refreshing starter, arrange segments of pink grapefuit on a plate, together with scoops of Pink Gin Sorbet and garnish with sprigs of fresh mint.
    14. Melted Chocolate Sauce
    15. Cut up and gently melt a small Mars bar or Toblerone with a little single cream. Serve with Organic Vanilla or Chocolate Ice Cream and sprinkle with toasted chopped nuts or chocolate pieces.
