    Joanna's Rice Pudding

    • Preparation time: 5 minutes
    • Cooking time: 2 hours to 2 hours 15 minutes

    Serves: 6

    Ingredients

    • 20 g unsalted butter, softened
    • 130 g pudding rice
    • 55 g caster sugar
    • 1.1 litres Whole milk
    • ¼ tsp Ground nutmeg

    Method

    1. Preheat the oven to 150c/gas2. Using 5g softened butter, grease a 2 litre ovenproof dish.
    2. Stir the rice and sugar together in the dish; pour over the milk. Dot the remaining butter over the top and sprinkle on the nutmeg.
    3. Bake in the oven for 2 hours to 2 hours 15 minutes, until creamy.
