    Mini Meatballs

    • Preparation time: 10 minutes
    • Cooking time: 20 minutes
    • Total time: 30 minutes 30 minutes

    • 500g ground lamb
    • small bunch coriander leaves finely chopped, plus extra to serve
    • 3 tbsp balti curry paste
    • salt and freshly ground pepper
    • 100g natural yogurt
    • juice of ½ lemon


    1. Preheat the oven to 190°C, gas mark 5.
    2. Mix the lamb, coriander and curry paste. Season well. Form the mix into walnut-sized balls. Place on a non-stick baking tray with a lip. Bake for 20 minutes, taking them out half way through to pour off the liquid that will have collected.
    3. Meanwhile, thin the yogurt with the lemon juice and season with salt.
    4. Heap the cooked meatballs on a plate. Scatter with coriander. Drizzle with the yogurt or serve it alongside. Serve hot, with cocktail sticks.
